What is the setup of the shared home?

 

 

This is a cosy, lived-in private home, not a hotel. You’ll have your own private room, and you won’t be sharing the house with any other guests during your stay.

You’ll share the facilities with the host, so please be mindful and leave shared spaces tidy after you use them.

 

 

What are the standard check-in and check-out times?

Check-in starts at 3:00 pm, and check-out is by 10:00 am. I’ll be there to welcome you when you arrive, so please let me know your estimated arrival time ahead of time to avoid any waiting. Arriving later in the evening? No problem—just give me a heads-up in advance.

Can I request early check-in or late check-out?

Subject to availability, early check-in from 8:00 am onwards can be arranged for £40. Complimentary late check-out may be available until 12:00 noon upon request; extended late check-out up to 4:00 pm is available for an additional fee.

Is luggage drop-off available before check-in?

Yes, luggage drop-off is available from 8:00 am onwards for £20 (subject to availability and paid in advance). Bags are collected at the building entrance; please note that luggage drop-off does not include access to the flat or room prior to 3:00 pm.

Is there an Elevator / Lift?

YES 

What are the core house rules?
  • I observe a strict shoes-off policy inside the flat.
  • NO Smoking, vaping, parties, commercial filming
  • NO heavy drinking are strictly prohibited.
  • NO unregistered visitors
  • NO Pets /animals in the building 

How does housekeeping work during my stay?

Because this is a private home, daily housekeeping is not included during your stay. A thorough professional clean is carried out prior to check-in to ensure a pristine room for your arrival.

For longer stays, cleaning is provided once a week. Guests are kindly asked to keep shared areas neat and tidy throughout their stay.

Professional cleaning services in Central London typically cost around £25–£48 per hour. Providing daily cleaning would add considerably to the cost of a short stay, so this service is not included in the room rate. This allows me to offer a comfortable, well-maintained room at a more reasonable overall price.

How do direct bookings work?

Direct bookings are handled personally by Amanda. Simply get in touch with your preferred dates and guest count. Dates are officially confirmed once the agreed booking details and advance payment have been received. Cash on arrival may be accepted for short-notice bookings by prior agreement.

What is the security deposit?

A  refundable £200 damage deposit may be required to protect against accidental damage or rule violations.
